5. Next dial *131*1# to select of your choice the data plan you want. 

Send 2 to 131 to check your data balance.
Mind you, out of the 2.5gb, 500mb is only used in the night while the rest in the day.. 

HOW TO GET 2GB FOR 500NAIRA ON MTN. 

1. First you must be on iplus. 
Dial *406*1# to migrate.

2. Send the sms above ie DOUBLE PROMO FREE.  ignore if you have done it. 

3. Dial *406#, choose 1gb for 500naira, after successful activation,  you will receive 2gb which is double.
