Two simple ways to increase your download speed on Android

People have always wanted fast internet service most especially those that their phones are not 4g enabled and majority of us usually download large files which require fast internet. From what I have tested for me Etisalat has the fastest internet service followed by MTN, airtel and glo tried it in different locations and etisalat has proven to be the faster of all maybe it might be different for you.

Today I will be reviewing simple way to boost the speed of your internet service provider most especially glo as a network. This trick has proven to increase your download speed by 25% maybe if your download speed falls at 500---800kb/sec when you use this trick it will apparently fall at 600—1mb/secs just follow the steps properly.

FOR GLO USERS HOW TO INCREASE DOWNLOAD SPEED

This requires modifying the APN settings

1. Go to settings

2. Mobile networks

3. APN settings 

4.  Change your APN settings form gloflatto web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net this is MTN APN settings that works fast on glo 

5. Save it and put your phone to airplane mode and undo it back and feel the speed.

STEPS TO BOOST YOUR DOWNLOAD SPEED

1. Download MTK engineering mode app here

2. Lunch the app 

3. Tap MTK settings

4. Scroll up and find mobile data service preferred

5. Tap on it and tick the checkbox there

6. You will be prompted will a dialogue box just tap ok

7. Now restart your phone and feel the Speedo

For glo users you can combine the first and second method for better efficiency
